Role Overview
We’re recruiting for a Duty Manager to join our passionate and driven Cleaning team based at our client’s site in Kimberley Way
Responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the smooth and efficient running of the car park, waste and cleaning team. This role is to enhance and deliver internal service provision with the expectation that our guests are surprised and delighted by their visit through the service that we provide. As the first point of contact for the soft service operation, you will lead by example manging the daily activities of the Cleaning team. The candidate will be able to multi task and have a flexible approach to working times to support business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day to day management of the cleaning team
- Responsible for monitoring the day-to-day operation of the site, ensuring performance & standards of associated team & involvement in implementation ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for the client, staff, visitors and members of the public
- To be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the Car Parking services, and waste management within the centre.
- To enhance the customer experience and reputation of the client and OCS group
- Support staff in delivering to their full capabilities.
- Roster management
- Auditing
- PDA management
- Supporting the site lead to ensure KPIs are met
- Client walks of the site discussing improvements, challenges and solutions
- Support staff with payroll queries
- Coaching and mentoring staff
- Initial point of contact for complaints or queries
- Carry out initial HR investigations when required
About You:
- Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to operate in a busy environment.
- Excellent time management.
- Attention to detail and proactive.
- Able to multitask
- Ability to work under own initiative and also as a member of a team
- Supportive to team members
- Willingness to take any further appropriate training.
- Retail Experience preferred but not essential.
- Previous experience within a similar role.
