Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our team. As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our hotel and ensuring exceptional guest service. This is a leadership role that requires excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for hospitality.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of hotel staff to ensure efficient and smooth operations
- Provide guidance and support to team members, including training and development opportunities
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner
- Assist with guest check-ins, check-outs, and resolving any billing discrepancies
- Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Handle guest complaints or emergencies, escalating as necessary
- Maintain accurate records of daily operations, including occupancy rates and revenue
- Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff
- Assist with human resources functions, such as scheduling, performance evaluations
Experience:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality industry is required
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk procedures, housekeeping standards, and guest services
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Proficient in using hotel management software systems
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving abilities with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure
