iO Associates have partnered with a National Security consultancy which focuses on helping organisations in regulated environments to understand & leverage large amounts of data.
We are looking to speak to experienced Data Scientists holding active, enhanced DV (UK*C) who would like to join our client at an exciting time of growth.
The successful candidate will be confident harnessing machine learning & analysing vast quantities of data, as well as skilled in Python or a similar programming language.
In return, you will get the opportunity to join a dynamic, innovative consultancy who aim to solve complex problems within National Security & Defence by harnessing data intelligence.

What you’ll be working on:
•    Developing practical machine learning models and integrating these into the customer software.
•    Analysing large data sets, identifying patterns, producing useful statistical outputs & furthering the customer’s understanding of the data.
•    Work closely with Data Engineers to support scaling up activities.
•    Statistical testing.
•    Maintenance of own Machine Learning models.
•    Explaining findings and data analytics to a range of stakeholders.

Skills you will need:
•    Python - PyTorch, scikit-learn, numpy or scipy
•    Hadoop and Spark
•    Sound knowledge of Machine Learning – developing & maintaining models.
•    Agile Software Development experience.
•    Natural Language Processing techniques.
•    Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
