iO Associates have partnered with a major Software & Engineering organisation who work within the Defence and National Security industries.
We are looking to speak to Senior or Lead Software Engineers holding enhanced Mod DV to join them on a major programme of work.
The successful candidate will be a Senior Software Engineer, who is confident delivering significant software bids while building and leading high-performing Agile software development teams who have the capability to meet stakeholder requirements.
You will be working on:
• Ensuring software development teams deliver successfully against the customer requirements in line with bids won.
• Provide guidance to the teams and help them prioritise across the portfolio in line with stakeholder agreements.
• Reporting on software delivery timescales and risk across a software portfolio.
• Developing and maintaining software architecture.
• Working closely with the System Architect and Programme Lead to integrate software solutions.
• Driving agile delivery.
• Key stakeholder management.
• Act as Product Owner, when necessary.
Required Experience
• Proven track record of successful software delivery.
• Ability to mobilisation and coordinate multi-disciplinary of teams.
• Excellent knowledge / experience of software architecture.
• Can drive the implementation of Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of a programming language e.g. C++, Python
