LEAD FULL STACK DEVELOPER DESCRIPTION
Lead Full Stack Developers build the front-end and back-end design of websites and software applications. They create design plans for the user-facing side of applications, which controls look, feel, and function.
They also structure the back part of an application, which manages program logic and server database interaction. A Lead Full Stack Developer is trained to understand what is going on between these two interfaces and possesses the variety of software skills needed to work on both. People with a strong desire to learn a multitude of technologies and programming languages with a can-do attitude will thrive in this role. Lead Full Stack Developers are problem-solvers, working in a fast-paced, collaborative office environment leading other engineers on best practice and training more junior developers.
LEAD FULL STACK DEVELOPER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Designing and developing back and front-end applications.
- Designing user interactions on web pages.
- Creating servers and databases for functionality.
- Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
- Designing and developing APIs.
- Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
- Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
- Leading a team of developers; educating on best practice, conducting 1 on 1’s with team members.
- Getting involved in interviews to hire new members of the team.
LEAD FULL STACK DEVELOPER REQUIREMENTS
- Proficiency with fundamental frontend languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Proficiency with one of .NET, Python, Java, etc.
- Excellent knowledge of SQL.
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks Angular, React or Vue.
- Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, etc.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Good problem-solving skills
