The Company

An exciting opportunity to join a market-leading organisation that looks after some of the biggest brands in the UK. We are looking for a natural 'go-getter’ who is passionate about the customer experience, to join a thriving team as the E-Commerce Sales Account Manager. This is a new role that has been created to support the fast growth of the business.

The Role

As the E-Commerce Sales Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role focussing and supporting the growth of the thriving E-Commerce sector, aswel as retention of existing clients. Working alongside the new business and client service teams, you will engage with clients growing relationships and ensuring repeat business, maximising revenue for the business.

  • Cultivating repeat bookings by engaging with lapsed and current clients.
  • Supporting new business efforts for client base expansion - conducting weekly outreach to at least 50 contacts.
  • Researching and building relationships within the selected target companies to learn more about the decision-making process and how they evaluate the success of the campaigns.
  • Effectively handling objections and negotiating within agreed parameters.
  • Identifying opportunities for growing high-potential clients.
  • Providing online demonstrations, representing the business professionally.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service, acting as a key point of contact for identified customers.
  • Keeping abreast of industry issues to communicate with clients effectively.
  • Interpreting and discussing client briefs, arranging and leading Teams meetings and managing client concerns.
  • Taking the lead in preparing agendas and minutes for client meetings.

About You

We are looking for a dynamic, go getter who isn’t afraid to get themselves out there and build the brand, and your relationships! Key skills and attributes required:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in B2B selling; ideally in selling to SMEs.
  • A self-motivated person who can work independently towards a team goal.
  • Excellent time management, organisation and communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Proactive in problem-solving and objection handling.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Self-starter with a drive to perform to a consistently high standard.
  • Customer focused - strives to deliver high standards of customer service personally and through a team of people.
  • Persuasive and adequately robust in pursuit of sales, with the ability to close the sale.
  • IT literate -MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
  • Have a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

The Package

  • Competitive basic salary £30,000 - £34,000pa.
  • Commission scheme, paid quarterly, earn upto and additional 40% of your salary.
  • Hybrid working (2 days at home, once up and running).
