As an Early Career Teacher (ECT) at our school, you will have the opportunity to develop your teaching skills under the guidance of experienced mentors. This role offers hands-on experience in planning, delivering, and assessing lessons across the primary curriculum, with the opportunity to complete some terms of your induction as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of primary students.
- Collaborate with experienced teachers to develop effective teaching strategies and resources.
- Support the academic and social development of students through targeted interventions and differentiated instruction.
- Participate in school-wide activities, including staff meetings, professional development sessions, and extracurricular events.
- Reflect on your teaching practice, seek feedback, and actively engage in the process of continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Hold a relevant teaching qualification and be eligible to work as an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
- Demonstrate a passion for education and a commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of young learners.
- Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Show a willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges.
- Eligibility to complete some terms of your induction, subject to individual circumstances.
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
