The client is a market leading, global organisation within the Education and Training sector. They are currently looking for an Early Careers Advisor to join their team on a permanent basis, due to internal promotions. The role is hybrid, based 2 days in Milton Keynes, with occasional travel involved. They are looking for a bright, confident individual who thrives on building relationships, and presenting to diverse crowds both face to face and virtually. Description
- Provide guidance and support to early-career professionals, helping them navigate their initial career paths.
- Raise awareness amongst potential students and their influencers through exciting events and relationship building with schools, colleges and universities.
- Promote a positive work culture and foster professional growth opportunities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in career development.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Effectively communicate career opportunities and resources to early-career professionals, challenging previous misconceptions and promoting what the organisation has to offer to early-career professionals.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of career development programmes.
Profile
A successful Early Careers Advisor should:
- Have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with early-career professionals and stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrable experience in presenting at events or engaging wide audiences
- Have experience in events/ recruitment or a related field
- Have a passion for inspiring early career professionals
- Live locally to Milton Keynes
- Have a full clean driving license (necessary)
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Be a strong team player as well as able to work autonomously as an individual
- Have willingness to travel (including overnight stays)
