Job title: Early Careers & Skill Development Coach (Sheetmetal)Location: BarrowSalary: £41,997 - £45,079 Depending on experience.What you'll be doing:
Delivering outstanding teaching, learning and assessment practices that engage and inspire apprentices to fulfil their individual potential.Creating and implementing an inclusive learning environment.Developing apprentices that are innovative thinkers and creative problem solvers, through designing and delivering learning content.Coaching apprentices to reach their full potential by providing key support, mentoring, challenge and motivation.Assessing and monitoring learner progress & performance in line with the apprenticeship frameworks/ standards and the occupational expectations of the businessLiaising with the Further Education provider in order to monitor learner performance and effectively maximise the link between classroom and workplace learning opportunities.Your skills and experiences:Essential:Time served sheet metal worker.Skilled engineering professional with occupational competence within Sheet MetalDesirable:Training & Development qualifications NVQ Level 3 or equivalentAssessor Award qualification (willing, to work towards during role)Verifier Award (advantageous but not essential) Benefits:You'll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan. This role will provide you with the opportunity to help shape the apprenticeship programme being based within the Submarines Barrow. We invest £90m into our Early Careers and Skills Programmes annually, with 2,000 Apprentice learners currently in the UK.
