Early Childhood Practitioner (Fixed Term until 17 August 2025) - PKC11653
£10,294 - £11,060 (15 Hours per week, Term-time only)

We are looking to recruit an Early Childhood Practitioner to support the delivery of high quality learning within Primary One.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who has a commitment and passion to deliver excellence and equity so that every child should thrive and have the best opportunity to succeed.
You must have sound knowledge of the Curriculum for Excellence (Early Level) You will assist in the organisation and management of the service for the benefit of all children, families and the wider community.
You must be able to work on your own initiative and as a team member who directly contributes to and supports colleagues in the development of high quality learning.
The Individual
You should hold an appropriate qualification e.g. SNNEB, NNEB, HNC, SCQF level 7 equivalent or SVQ 3 in Childcare and Education or SVQ 3 Social Services (Children and Young People), as well as have the eligibility to register with SSSC.
The role requires sensitivity, patience and compassion along with a welcoming approach to generate a feeling of trust and safety for children and their family / carers.
A genuine interest in the development of children and their wellbeing is essential and the important qualities are kindness, sensitivity, respectfulness, and good manners and to respect confidentiality at all times.
