About the role

Cambridgeshire County Council Early Years, Childcare and School Readiness Service

Early Years andChildcare Business and Governance Adviser

Salary: SO2 point 26 –28 £34,834-£36,648 per annum

Fixed term position for 1 year

We are seeking a skilled and experienced person to join the team and lead on systems for administration, audit and best practice guidelines for Early Years Funding in Cambridgeshire alongside generic Business and Governance support.

The post is full time (37 hours per week) and initially fixed term for 1 year.

The role has a flexible working pattern to support both service delivery and your home life balance and will involve some travel to settings, home working and office-based working.

The Person

The successful candidate will need to be qualified to a Level 3 equivalent or above in Early Years and Childcare and/or Business administration / management / systems. The applicant should also have a working knowledge and experience of a range of Early Years and Childcare settings. Full details can be found in the job description and person specification.
