TeacherActive is happy to be working with private day nursery in the Ormskirk L39 area. The nursery provides exceptional care to the 50+ children placed at the setting. All staff are highly experienced and have a thorough knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and safeguarding. The nursery provides age appropriate learning activities for all children, based on current interests, to ensure optimal engagement and meeting of developmental milestones. 

The nursery is looking for an Early Years Assistant, experience is preferred but not essential as you will be learning on the job. On site you will be supported by an experienced team of likeminded Early Years Assistants and practitioners, and report to the manager and room leaders. You will work across all rooms with children 6 months to 4 years old. You will also be eager and ready to learn on the job. The role is first on a day to day basis, however, has the chance to become permanent for the correct candidate. 

As an Early Years Assistant, you will:

-          Be eager to learn and gain knowledge of the EYFS and Early Years Sector

-          Be open to doing training to expand all skills and knowledge on the job

-          Have a caring and positive approach to working in the Early Years
