Hays Education are working with a fantastic nursery in Poulton who are recruiting for a number of brand new Early Years Practitioners to join their team on a permanent basis. This nursery is the largest of its kind in the region with almost 200 children on their books and almost 50 members of staff. They are now looking to increase their workforce to offer the best experience for their children and parents alike. These are full-time roles however, they are also open to candidates seeking part-time for these roles.
Your new role
Your new role will see you working with children aged 0-5 and your job will be to participate in imaginative play with the children to promote the children\'s learning and development. You will be implementing a range of exciting, creative activities appropriate for children, to challenge the children to promote their development and increase their confidence as independent learners. You should be confident in working with various ability pupils and immersing yourself in daily activities. This can be a great role for those looking to gain more experience working with children.
What you\'ll need to succeed
In order to be successful for this role, you must have prior experience within a nursery, or previous experience within an Education setting. A minimum of a recognised Level 3 qualification is not completely essential but strongly desired. This nursery look to regularly support their staff with developing their skills through certain qualifications, so you must show a willingness to learn. You must have experience within an early year setting and a strong knowledge of Early Years legislation. You must have a valid Enhanced DBS (this can be applied for by the nursery if needed).
You will be able to work as part of a team, and have good organisational & communication skills. Experience with SEN children is desired but not essential.
