Early Years Consultant

Permanent

Grade 4 - £32,076 - £39,186 Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review

Working Hours are 36.5 hours per week

2 Permanent posts

In addition up to 2 additional Fixed Term Contracts until 31 st March 2026. The fixed-term posts may be extended if additional funding becomes available.

Working within the Early Years and Childcare Service, you will play a vital role in delivering the Council’s Statutory duties to provide professional support services to all Early Years and childcare providers to meet the Local Authority statutory duties in respect of childcare sufficiency for children aged 0 -14 (18 for children with SEND) and early education for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.

The post holder will also work with all key stakeholders to raise outcomes for settings inspected by Ofsted and contribute to improving children’s outcomes at the end of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
