Position: Early Years Practitioner
Location: Preston, PR4
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our vibrant team in Preston, PR4. The position is based in a delightful setting that embraces a natural approach to early childhood education, with a strong emphasis on outdoor learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate Learning: Create a stimulating and nurturing environment for children aged 0-5 years, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Outdoor Learning: Embrace our natural approach by incorporating outdoor activities and nature-based experiences into daily lesson plans.
Curriculum Implementation: Follow and contribute to the development of a well-rounded curriculum that aligns with Early Years' best practices and guidelines.
Observation and Assessment: Conduct regular observations and assessments to track the progress and individual needs of each child, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow practitioners, parents, and external professionals to ensure the holistic development of every child.
Health and Safety: Maintain a safe and secure environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in an Early Years setting.
- Passion for outdoor learning and a natural approach to early childhood education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.
Working Hours:
Full-time position with hours between 8:00 am and 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
