Crown Meadow First School and Nursery is a happy, nurturing and caring school that aims to provide the highest quality education for children from 2 to 9 years in a fantastic purpose built building, which we share with Alvechurch Library and Alvechurch Middle School. In the time children are part of our school, we make sure they are provided with a range of exciting learning opportunities that engage and challenge them as they move throughout the school.

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Early Years (Nursery) teacher with a love of the outdoors and a deep understanding of play-based learning. This is a full-time, permanent position, within a caring, dedicated and friendly team who go the extra mile to develop learning environments and you as a professional.

We are looking for an Early Years (Nursery) teacher who:

• Puts children at the heart of everything they do
• Has a warm smiling face that makes every child feel special
• Is passionate about implementing our broad and balanced EYFS curriculum
• Is quirky and would be more than happy to join the children in role play (haven’t you always dreamed of being a unicorn or dinosaur!)
• Is experienced in teaching early Phonics, communication and language
• Is well organised, thoughtful and able to work effectively in a team
• Is prepared to be part of the team dealing with all sorts of bodily functions i.e. cleaning up after a toilet accident!
• Is enthusiastic, energetic and creative, reading a book upside down with numerous interruptions
• Is self-motivated and determined to build upon their professional development.

Visits to our school are warmly welcomed and tours of the school will be held on:

• Monday 15^th January at 4.00pm
• Wednesday 17^th January at 9.30am
• Tuesday 23^rd January at 1.30pm
