We are seeking qualified level 2 or 3 Early Years Practitioners/nursery nurses for this privately owned nursery and preschool. This position will be based on the border of Kilburn High Road and Maida Vale. We have a child focused team who really care about the well-being and development of their key children.
This is a full time (40 hours per week) role is worked over 4 days. You will be responsible for the daily care and development of children in one our age groups depending your experience.
Our nursery practitioners are responsible for the following areas;
Design and implementation of the daily routine in line with the EYFS including bespoke planning for individual child needs
Reviewing risk assessments and daily checklists to ensure a safe environment
Managing all elements of daily routine to ensure safety standards are met i.e. permission forms, outside risk assessments, allergy needs
Regular and accurate assessment of children's learning outcomes in comparison to the EYFS achievement standards and progress trackers
Continual feedback and communication with parents via our parent portal, face to face and at parent information evenings
Supporting senior management to ensure that tasks relating to day to day management of nursery are completed
Support of more junior team members to ensure they are confident and understand their roles within the classroom
Motivating and engaging team to ensure the best possible environment for children to learn

Ability to obtain a clear DBS check
Provide details for 3x referees
Level 2 CACHE / NVQ in childcare (above / equivalent)
The nurseries are open 50 weeks a year from 8am-6pm Monday-Friday.
