Job Description
This post is regulated work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months in the last 5 years outside of the UK, an Overseas Criminal Record Check must be obtained. The candidate is responsible for obtaining this check. A confirmed offer of employment is dependent on the outcome of both these checks being satisfactory.
This post will require you to have obtained SSSC registration within 6 months of employment.
This is a Children’s Service Network (CSN) post. Initially you will be based at Banff Primary School, but you may be required to work elsewhere in the Banff CSN. You will be required to work 52.18 weeks per year.

Responsibilities
- Provide a lead role in key aspects of policy development, quality assurance and self-evaluation to ensure National Standard requirements are met within the local authority and funded providers, to help deliver high-quality pre-school education
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
