Are you ready to kickstart your dream job nurturing young minds? Our exciting accelerated apprenticeship pathway, in collaboration with leading employers and local authorities, allows you to pave the way for a successful career in Early Years.
Our brand-new Skills Bootcamp is designed to support you to into a career in Early Years, offering a different route to the Early Years educator level 3 apprenticeship. This programme is created to provide you with a pathway to success, shortening the level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship duration to a minimum of 12 months.
Cohorts running throughout the year with a choice of timings. Online AM – 9.30 – 12pm or Online evening – 6-9 and 6-8 on a Thursday.
Here’s what you can expect: .
6-week online programme: Get involved in a dynamic learning experience with a 6-weeks of engaging online learning.
Significant prior learning: Gain valuable learning during the accelerated apprenticeship pathway that will be built upon in your level 3 apprenticeship.
Mapped to your Early Years journey: Our Skills Bootcamp programme aligns with the Early Years level 3 apprenticeship, ensuring it’s all about preparing you for the journey ahead.
DBS application: Your DBS application will be taken care of during the programme, making sure you can focus on your learning.
Optional work experience: Explore optional work experience opportunities in settings that are rated as ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’, letting you get hands-on experience in environments that truly matter.
A guaranteed interview in a childcare setting.
No cost to you (unless you’re employed): Participate at no cost, and if you progress to an apprenticeship, there will be nothing to pay there either.
Access to support and guidance: Benefit from information, advice, and guidance services and a comprehensive wraparound support tailored to your unique journey.
Training Provided
Week one and two - Roles, responsibilities and professional behaviours, Teamworking and effective communication, Communicating with children and managing positive behaviour, Child development, Developing maths confidence in EY.
Week three and four - EYFS, Observation, assessment and planning, Safeguarding , Health and safety, Developing maths confidence in EY.
Week five and six - Emergency Paediatric first aid (face to face – 6 hours) , Health and wellbeing, Equality, Diversity and SEND, Legal requirements in Early Years, Developing maths confidence in EY.
Plus, Participants will access advice and career progression support throughout.
Entry Requirements and Qualifications
You must be over 19
Have right to work in the UK
Not have already completed a Level 3 in Early years.
