A fantastic & supportive Primary School in the Borough of Lewisham are on the hunt for an Early Years Teaching Assistant for an ASAP start. This is a full time and long-term post.
You will be working across both the Nursery & Reception Phase in and out of the classroom. You will also be promoting learning through play & child led learning, but also utilising / creating Phonics, Reading, Writing and Maths sessions.
The Head Teacher is eager to find a graduate with a genuine passion towards Early Years. The perfect graduate would be hardworking, ambitious, creative and a real team player.
Part of this role will also be supporting children with SEN needs including Autism so any experience or understanding of this is ideal.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Early Years Teaching Assistant
- EYFS (Nursery & Reception) Focus - Phonics, Reading, Maths and Writing
- Supporting children on a 1:1 & group basis in and outside of the classroom - including SEN needs such as Autism, Learning Difficulties and Speech & Language
- Working alongside a range of 'Outstanding' Primary Teachers
- ASAP start - Long Term & Full Time
- £100 - £110 per day
- Located in the Borough of Lewisham
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Must have a University Degree from a reputable University
- Good understanding of the Early Years curriculum
- You must be able to inspire young minds
- Must be able to get down to the children's level and get stuck in
- Caring and play-full personality will be required
- Must have experience with SEN
