Early Years Teaching Assistant Engage Education are currently looking for dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistants in Brighton for January 2024. You will play a pivotal role in laying the foundation for students' educational journey. You will be responsible for creating an engaging and supportive classroom environment, facilitating learning through a comprehensive and creative curriculum, and building strong relationships with students. Key Responsibilities: Support the class teacher in delivering creative and stimulating lessons that cater to the diverse needs of young learners. Assist in the planning and preparation of engaging activities that promote the development of key skills in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. Provide individualised support to students, including those with special educational needs, to ensure their holistic development. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where children feel safe, valued, and motivated to explore and learn. Collaborate with the teaching team, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and a holistic approach to each child's education. Qualifications and Skills: Minimum of [Level 2/Level 3] Early Years qualification or equivalent. Previous experience working in an Early Years setting is highly desirable. Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
