Early Years Teaching Assistant - Swindon

Your new role
You will be expected to support the class teacher with encouraging engagement, setting up activities and supporting when needed. You should feel confident in working with small groups focusing upon Maths, English and Phonics. You will be dedicated to ensuring pupils receive support with any issues they may have. You may be asked to support with a range of additional activities such as taking small group interventions, working with groups as part of whole class sessions, supporting with carpet inputs as well as creating resources and supporting to develop classroom environments.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have recent and relevant experience within a classroom setting in the last 2 years. You will ideally have a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Qualification. You will need to be supportive and engaging whilst demonstrating a professional manner. You will need good communication skills, especially when working with small groups.
