East Sussex CAMHS Locality Manager - Ouse Valley CAMHS

This is an exciting opportunity as we are looking to recruit a CAMHS Locality Manager in East Sussex. We are interested in applications from a range of professionals who ideally would have a track record of leadership or management.
Main duties of the job
The management role will be working with Multi-disciplinary teams who deliver excellent clinical care to young people in a range of services across East Sussex. The post holder will be working as part of a dynamic leadership team across the Sussex CAMHS and specialist services. The post holder will also work in collaboration with other senior leaders to ensure that the service continues to deliver on key performance objectives and provide high quality care. The post holder will be enthusiastic, self-motivated and willing to make a real and positive contribution to the service. They will need to be quality and performance focused, ready for a challenge, possess excellent communication, management and organisational skills and have the ability to work under pressure in a supportive and experienced leadership team. Supervision and good peer support is available as part of the local leadership structure and with clinical and managerial colleagues.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
• To work effectively within a multidisciplinary setting, holding self and colleagues to account appropriately and demonstrating personal commitment to integrated managerial/professional leadership.
• Achieve an agreed set of performance targets.
• Provide services within the agreed financial resources and achieve all financial targets, including cost efficiency savings ensuring maximum value in terms of clinical and cost effectiveness.
• To contribute in the planning and delivery of service objectives, managing specific change projects as required, ensuring customer focus, consistency, quality and cost effectiveness.
• Respond to Serious Incidents (SI's), complaints and communications, ensuring timely and thorough investigation, effective communication of recommendations and closely monitoring actions to ensure they are fully implemented.
• Identify risk and take corrective action in line with trusts integrated governance framework.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Educated to degree/ diploma level with a relevant qualification or equivalent experience.
- Clinical/post graduate management qualification to masters or equivalent level of experience and proven ability to perform at this level
Knowledge/Experience
Essential criteria
- Extensive experience of and demonstrable achievement in managing health/social care services.
- Experience of working in a CAMHS or Children's Services Team.
- Management of resources and good track record with change management, efficiency savings and financial recovery plans.
- Experience of managing a diverse practitioner team (multi-site).
- Measurable track record in involving and motivating staff to improve performance.
