Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Implement behaviour management strategies and interventions to support positive behaviour.
Foster positive relationships with students, helping them build trust and self-esteem.
Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
Monitor and record student progress, adapting strategies as needed to address individual needs.
Contribute to the development and implementation of Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs)
Requirements:
Previous experience working with students facing emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse needs.
Relevant qualifications in education or special education (e.g., Teaching Assistant Certificate, relevant degree).
