Astute’s Power team is partnering with a leading Power Company to recruit a EC&I Technician for its site in Suffolk.
The Electrical, Controls and Instrumentation Technician role comes with a salary of �38,000 + benefits package.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will:
* Fault finding, installing and maintaining, instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow and level) and control systems.
* Calibrations and loop checking of instruments relating to the sites DCS/control systems.
* Maintaining the continuous emission monitoring systems (CEMS)
* Assist in the development of plant modification and improvement work.
* Maintaining accurate maintenance records using the site CMMS
* Supervising and directing on site contractors when required
* Ensuring strict HSE compliance at all times.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* A recognised EC&I engineering qualification such as NVQ Level 3 / HNC
* A solid level of knowledge and understanding of maintenance on controls and instrumentation equipment
* At least 4 years of experience working in the maintenance team in a heavy process environment such as a Power Station, refinery, chemical plant etc.
* An Electrical bias is preferred.
