Ecommerce Manager

As eCommerce Manager, you will be responsible for two regional websites, as well as working closely with the UK sales and marketing teams, to drive online activity with the goal of increasing online revenue and improving customer experience. This role is full time, permanent and based in Stockport. You will have one direct report, as well as responsibility for ongoing operational tasks including (but not limited to) online content, site search optimisation and performance analysis.

This role will require you to work as part of the European e-Commerce team with 40+ websites within the company's scope, ensuring collectively, they all deliver a best in class digital experience.

As eCommerce Manager your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering online promotional material in line with the marketing communication plan
• Supporting key initiatives, such as the launch of new products and digital projects
• Optimisation of site search and 3rd party digital tools
• User acceptance testing / performance troubleshooting
• Delivering online revenue growth in line with sales targets
• Supporting development pipeline, including the migration from the Magento 1 platform to Magento 2

As eCommerce Manager you will have/be:

• Strong e-Commerce experience
• Knowledge of the Magento platform is preferred but not essential
• Technical skills including: SAP, Google Analytics, etc.
• Results driven and solutions focused
• Able to work with multiple teams and ideally experience of managing people
• Someone who enjoys technical challenges and be passionate about tackling complex problems
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• A dedication to meeting expectations and requirements from online customers
• A keen eye for detail and accuracy
