Job Description


As the Ecommerce Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing end-to-end e-commerce projects, from inception to delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with business goals, and leveraging your expertise to drive successful project outcomes.

You will be:

  • Working with the Programme Managers to deliver priority projects within the Ecommerce environment.
  • Implementing best practices to enhance efficiency.
  • Managing projects through the delivery lifecycle from requirements definition to delivery and evaluation.
  • Creating project documentation including project plans, regular status reporting and RAID logs and reporting these back to the key stakeholders.
  • Working across multiple teams and functions within Ecommerce and broader IT teams where required.
  • Overseeing the daily tasks of teams ensuring all are actively working toward established milestones, whilst identifying and removing any blockers.
  • Tracking teams’ capacity to avoid overutilisation or delays in project timelines.
  • Establish and oversee Quality assurance processes to ensure a flawless user experience.
  • Working in a hybrid of Waterfall and Agile delivery
  • Senior stakeholder project update communication
  • Identifying opportunities to improve process within the ecommerce teams.

This role is based 3 days in one of our office locations: Manchester or Shirebrook, and 2 days working remotely.


Qualifications


Required:

  • Proven experience as an Ecommerce Project Manager with a focus on platform implementation and optimization.
  • Strong understanding of Ecommerce platforms, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
