Ecommerce Specialist

Staffline Ireland are recruiting for an Ecommerce Specialist on behalf of a global manufacturing company. As an Ecommerce Specialist, you will create and implement strategies that improve customer experience and make online transactions possible. You will organise, develop, and execute website marketing plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Join the project team for the development of a new e-commerce website and have great communication skills to support the efficient delivery of project requirements.
  • Write and edit product content that will be published on e-commerce websites/portals.
  • Set standards, systems, and best practices for new product listings, website content creation, distribution, and maintenance.
  • Work closely with different teams (technical, customer care, graphics, and sales) to provide updated content that will be shared across e-Commerce platforms.
  • Daily monitoring of website performance including; online transactions, merchandising, search, ranking and usability scoring etc.
  • Work with third parties to ensure the efficient and safe running of the website, including data storage and security.
  • Provide support in other areas of Media Marketing, PPC, Email Marketing, SEO, Keyword Research, Google Analytics, Website UX, and Paid Social Media.
  • Develop 'test and learn' programs for the new website and with support, lead a continuous UX improvement program for the new e-commerce website.
  • Responsible for the management of an internal website developer and lead on working with third party suppliers on all future website development requirements.
  • Stay on top of the latest trends in e-commerce principles and user experience across the industry and advise the business accordingly.
  • Any other duties role may involve.

Person Specification:

  • 3 years' experience in a fast-paced, e-Commerce role.
  • Knowledge of various platforms and online sales strategies that can be used to conduct digital sales or website conversions.
  • Familiar with web design principals and a keen eye for detail.
  • Be able to build rapport quickly with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver business objectives.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices.
  • The ability to communicate technical e-commerce and website information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
