About the role

We’re looking for an experienced eCommerce Web Trading Manager to join our recently formed Retail team. The role will support the Head of e-Commerce to develop and execute the Club’s eCommerce trading strategy.

This role is critical in driving online sales and optimising the performance of the Club’s eCommerce platform through website management, product merchandising, traffic acquisition and conversion optimisation. Champion customer experience and track performance through reporting and monitoring KPI’s.

You will work closely and collaboratively with the eCommerce Manager Manage to ensure that the day-to-day trading operations of the club's eCommerce website offers a best in class customer and user experience. In order to deliver this the role will manage product assortment, pricing strategies, and promotions to maximise sales and profitability working with the Buying & Merchandise teams on forecasting and demand planning.

Analysis of website performance metrics and user behaviour will be essential to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase conversion rates.

Your impact

You will have extensive experience in web, digital, or e-commerce roles and experience with Shopify/Shopify Plus.

With a degree level in Marketing, Business, or related field or with equivalent industry experience, you will be used to managing third-party agencies and consultants in an eCommerce environment and able to evidence that you have developed and implemented eCommerce strategies that drive sales growth and increase customer engagement.

Proven experience in eCommerce, preferably in retail or sport is essential.
