Responsibilities:
- Spearhead all Ecosystem Marketing efforts from strategy to execution, supporting events, products launches, feature updates, competitive and partner marketing initiatives.
- Identify and act on opportunities to attract new builders, developers, and projects to build on Starknet, ensuring that all components (products, partners, community) are aligned and working collaboratively. Develop and implement strategies to engage with these contributors and integrate them into the ecosystem.
- Collaborate closely with internal/xfn teams (Growth, Product, the broader Design/Comms/Events Marketing team) to align marketing initiatives with the priorities of the Foundation & ecosystem, ensuring a unified approach, consistent messaging, and ultimately helping to drive awareness, engagement, and growth across developer segments.
- Conduct research and leverage your deep understanding of industry trends and developer needs to represent the voice of the ecosystem as products and features are developed and brought to market.
- Create compelling product messaging, collateral and campaigns utilized for cross-channel growth (digital, social, events).
- Serve as the founding member of the Ecosystem Marketing team, leading the build-out of the team and function as needs grow.
Requirements:
- Accomplished technical Marketer with 8+ years of relevant experience developing successful ecosystem & product marketing strategies and a deep understanding of the motivations and needs of existing & interested web3 audiences.
- Deep understanding of the Foundation’s role within the ecosystem and the ability to align marketing initiatives and communications to reflect its mission and values.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to marketing tactics and execution. The ideal person will possess deep marketing & leadership experience and have the ability to operate immediately as part of a small initial org, with the ability to expand in both scope and leadership responsibility as the Marketing org grows.
- Expert at multi-channel marketing and growth strategies, specifically in early-stage and high-growth organizations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a variety of audiences.
- Adept at driving marketing strategies that target & engage different developer communities and a strong point of view on how to achieve this for Starknet.
