ECTs looking for HLTA Work

Tradewind is looking for an enthusiastic HLTA to support our lovely partner primary school in Bolton.

Position: HLTA

Location: Bolton

Contract: Full-time, September 2024 - July 2025

Pay Rate: £100 - £115 per day, subject to experience

This role is ideal for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with enthusiastic personalities and looking to develop experience across KS1 and KS2, and hone skills in behaviour management, planning and lesson delivery.

This one-form entry school has been rated 'Good' Ofsted in 2023. They pride themselves on developing a safe and inclusive school environment.

As a HLTA, you will be responsible for assisting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons from EYFS to Year 6. You will help maintain a positive learning environment by managing student behaviour, providing small group intervention and booster sessions, and supporting with planning and preparation.

You will work as part of a dedicated team of teachers and support staff, sharing ideas and resources to provide a creative and stimulating learning environment.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• Relevant Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
• Strong curriculum knowledge and adaptability to support across classrooms
• Confident in planning and delivering engaging lessons
• Genuine passion for working with children and enhancing their educational experience
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
• Have the legal right to work in the UK
