My client is a leading charity based in central London seeking an interim Head of Operations to bolster their team on an initial 12-months temporary basis with a strong opportunity to get extended.

The main responsibilities of the interim Head of Operationsare:

• Oversee and develop long term team budgets, risk registers, continuity and work-plans and team objectives in line with the 2023-2027 Corporate Strategy
• Provide leadership to embed the new procurement and contract management policy including building systems, documentation, and processes to improve procurement practices
• Managing month end processes and control account reconciliations
• Ensure statutory compliance across all Operations areas and governance reporting.

My client is looking for:

• A talented communicator with the demonstrable ability to build excellent working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
• Previous experience in the Charity sector, not for profit or public sector
• A confident people leader who can coordinate and motivate others to achieve
• Ability to work independently and take control of tasks

My client can offer a flexible approach to working, with 1 day a week going into the office based in central London and the rest working remotely. There is also a strong opportunity for this role to get extended or go permanent.
