Job description

We are looking for a Education Visits Officer to join our team on a permanent, full time basis, working 36 hours per week across the Kent cluster.

What's more, as part of our charity bringing history to life, you'll be supported and encouraged to share your ideas, inspire others and make a difference to the way England's rich past is experienced.
As our Education Visits Officer you will deliver high quality on-site learning programmes for schools across all of our Kent sites, inspiring students to learn
through authentic, fun and engaging activities across a range of sites in your territory.
You will work closely with colleagues from the Historic Properties, Interpretation and Learning and Marketing departments to ensure English Heritage remains a leading education provider in the heritage sector.
You will manage the delivery of outstanding learning experiences at our Kent sites through Free Education Visits (FEVs), Discovery Visits (DVs), national initiatives and territory programming.
To be considered as a Education Visits Officer, you will need:
Experience of working in an education setting.
Experience of developing and delivering education programmes to a range of education audiences
Experience of recruiting and managing volunteers
A genuine passion for heritage and a commitment to promoting its value as a learning resource for all.
A demonstrable commitment to and understanding of promoting access and inclusion
