Job description

The Child and Educational Psychology Service are looking to appoint Educational Psychologists to join our energetic, creative and friendly team.
We would like to invite applicants from Educational Psychologists who
Share our ambition that children and young people with SEND and those who are vulnerable are included and fully supported to aspire, achieve and experience a strong sense of belonging in their educational and community settings.
Share our belief that children and young people should be at the heart of all that we do and that we must strive to promote the voice of the child and their family.
Have demonstrable experience of innovative, creative and successful ways of working within a team.
Have experience of applying psychology across a range of education and community settings and value a consultation model of service delivery.
Share our service commitment to developing anti-racist practice and trauma informed practice.

Essential car user allowance
Minimum requirements: Psychology degree (or BPS equivalent); professional qualification in Educational Psychology (doctorate, masters or equivalent); and registration with the HCPC as a practitioner psychologist
We welcome applications from Trainee EPs who are due to qualify by September 2024 and will have registration confirmed following the completion of a recognised training course.
