Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Harrogate, North Yorkshire
Schools: Primary and SEN schools
Contract: Full time & Part time
Hours: 08:30am - 15:30pm
Pay: £77 - £100 per day
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring they access the curriculum and achieve their full potential in a nurturing and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting students with SEN, individually or in small groups, within the classroom.
• Assisting with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEP).
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and professionals to ensure optimal support for the students.
• Attending regular training and professional development sessions.
• Monitoring and recording student's progress.
• Adapting resources to cater to the needs of the students.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in supporting students with SEN is desirable but not essential.
• A genuine passion for working with and supporting students with SEN.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).

Training & Development:

• Team Teach training will be offered to successful candidates.
• Opportunities for further Continuous Professional Development (CPD) will also be provided.
