Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Harrogate, North Yorkshire
Schools: Primary and SEN schools
Contract: Full time & Part time
Hours: 08:30am - 15:30pm
Pay: £77 - £100 per day
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring they access the curriculum and achieve their full potential in a nurturing and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students with SEN, individually or in small groups, within the classroom.
- Assisting with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEP).
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and professionals to ensure optimal support for the students.
- Attending regular training and professional development sessions.
- Monitoring and recording student's progress.
- Adapting resources to cater to the needs of the students.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in supporting students with SEN is desirable but not essential.
- A genuine passion for working with and supporting students with SEN.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
Training & Development:
- Team Teach training will be offered to successful candidates.
