Dalton School, a large and diverse primary school, is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support the Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs of children under the guidance of our inclusion manager for SEMH.

The successful candidate for this role will need:
- to demonstrate resilience and exhibit a strong sense of empathy towards children who display behavioural challenges and have mental health needs.
- previous experience of working with children with special educational needs is desirable but not essential
- the ability to follow school policies under the guidance of our inclusion leader is crucial.
- a forward-thinking mindset and the ability to effectively engage with parents and external agencies are highly desirable qualities
- a calm disposition and a willingness to adapt to changes that may require appropriate adaptations in school policy are essential attributes for the successful candidate
