Attendance Welfare Officer

Grade 5 Point 12-17 £26,421 – £28,770 (full-time equivalent)

37 hours Term Time only plus INSET days

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our highly effective team providing first class day-to-day support for our students. To monitor and report on whole-school attendance data, analysing data to identify key areas of concern. To work closely with pupils, staff, families and local agencies to reduce levels of absence.

Applicants should have a working knowledge of Microsoft office and be able to communicate effectively with visitors and parents.

‘Every child deserves an outstanding education’ is one of the Trust’s core principles. Therefore, we recognise that students who face challenges that prevent them achieving consistently high attendance at school will find it difficult to succeed in their examinations.

Experience of working in a school or similar educational setting is desirable but not essential.
