We are looking for enthusiastic, organised and creative EFL Teachers to join ELC Bristol from July 2024.
Applications are welcome from EFL teachers with a degree, CELTA or Trinity Cert Tesol and preferably, at least 2 years of TEFL classroom experience to teach up to 21 hours per week (9.15am - 3.30pm Mon to Thursday and 9.15am -12.45pm Fridays) to international students aged 16+ (the majority of students are generally university age). Teachers are also required to take part in the vibrant school social programme by signing up for up to 4 activities per month.
The FTE salary for this role is £26,289.51 - £27,789.58 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications).
The initial contract would be from 1st or 8th July 2024 for up to 8 weeks, but there is a possibility that this may be extended beyond that point if staffing and student numbers allow.
We usually run classes for all levels of students from Elementary (A2) to Advanced (C1) and Proficiency (C2) and most teachers teach 2 different classes per day. There is a compulsory teachers’ meeting every Friday lunchtime and teaching staff are expected to carry out various standard class-related admin such as producing a weekly plan of proposed lessons for their main class and completing a record of what has been covered in each lesson. This is in addition to preparation and marking
