EH Food Officer

Our local authority client, based in East Midlands are looking to appoint an experienced EH Food officer to join their team on a part time basis. As this is an hourly paid post, you will be dealing with complaints and service requests as and when they come in. the expectation is for someone who is available 7.5 hours per day for either 1 or 2 days. One of which would need to be on a Friday. You will also be required to be in the office for admin/letters etc.
In order to be considered you must be a Food safety competent EHO or TO. It is essential that you are EHORB or equivalent and meet the competency requirements of the food law code of practice/practice guidance, have completed the FSA competency framework and have some recent food and health and safety experience.
As mentioned, this is a part time post starting ASAP. The contract will run for an initial 3 to 6 months and pay rates will start at £45 per hour.
