Electrical Cad Engineer

• Up to £35k dependent on experience
• + Cash Health Plan.
• + Pension
• 39 hours per week
• Lunchtime finish on a Friday

Our client is a prestigious, industry-leading organisation boasting a diverse project portfolio, with work across an array of sectors including Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Food and Beverage, and Waste water. They are also highly experienced in handling an assortment of fabrication and steel projects of various sizes.

Due to continued growth, they are now keen to recruit an Electrical CAD Engineer.

ESSENTIAL TO APPLY

• 2 years + experience in electrical engineering
• Track record of producing and checking electrical, control and instrumentation drawings
• Strong knowledge of 2D Drawing Software (AutoCAD Electrical experience is preferred)
• Low Voltage Distribution/MCC/Control Panel Schematic Design
• Electrical Installation Block Cable / Single Line Diagrams / Loop Termination Diagrams
• Familiarity with P&ID’s would be advantageous

Software Program Experience

• AutoCAD Electrical (Preferred)
• AutoCAD/Eplan/Solidworks

THE ROLE

• Responsible for producing electrical drawings for a range of water treatment, chemical and process industry equipment.

• A fully office-based position for a dedicated individual to join the EC&I department.
• In this role, you will work closely with other team members to collaboratively produce, update, and finalise control panel schematics, Block Cable / Single Line Diagrams, and Loop Termination Diagrams. Additionally, you will play a key role in generating As-Built drawings after project completion.
• Your attention to detail will be crucial as you perform thorough quality checks on your colleagues' work to ensure accuracy and precision in our projects.
