Salary12 Month Fixed Term Contract with the opportunity of being extended. £13.25 per hour PAYE or £16.65 per hour Umbrella. Based in Birmingham.
A Semi-skilled ECI Technician is required to operate Pilot Plant equipment, supporting Pilot Plant manufacturing operations to make food manufacturing samples in preparation to run a full production line of sample finished product. A food manufacturing sample could be roasting cocoa beans as an ingredient in the finished product.
Candidates with a background operating equipment and machinery in a food manufacturing or large scale catering environment will be at a distinct advantage.
Candidates with a recent relevant qualification eg: HNC in Electrical Engineering or HND in the same would be preferable. Candidates without qualifications will be considered if they can bring at least 1 year's practical experience in operating electrical manufacturing equipment.
