Electrical Design Engineer

Are you an Electrical Design Engineer with experience in the Subsea industry?

I am working with a company in North Yorkshire that are leading the way with Offshore and Drilling equipment.

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer who will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for subsea equipment and systems. You will work on cutting-edge projects, utilizing your technical skills to create design solutions that meet our clients' needs.

The client focuses on critical equipment used on the drilling rig, for flow control and to support offshore and subsea operations.

This is a 6 Month Contract outside IR35.

The ideal Electrical Design Engineer will have subsea/renewables experience and a strong background in EC&I.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Electrical Design
• Experience in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, E-Plan
• Electrical schematic drawing
• Knowledge of the offshore/subsea engineering industry is beneficial but not essential
• Knowledge of HV and LV systems
• Variable drive systems knowledge is beneficial but not essential
