Electrical Design Engineer

Location : Belton, DoncasterSector : ManufacturingSalary : £40,000 - £50,000 per annumTHE COMPANY:Nicholas Associates have an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer. You will be responsible for the Electrical Design and development of a range of projects, starting from the initial design, working to customer specifications', preparing designs for manufacture and seeing the product through to completion.THE JOB:Ensuring all designs are fit for purpose and meet the customers requirementsEnsuring all products meet company practice and engineering standardsTurning written specifications into designs and working prototypesReviewing current project designs to ensure customer requirements are converted into effective design solutions.Using 3D CAD, Solidworks or VeSys to design and draw all electrical componentsContributing to the standard parts and products design programmeDay-to-day liaison with internal and external contacts including sales, planning, procurement, manufacturing together with customers and suppliers.THE PERSON:HND or equivalent in electrical engineering.Knowledge of VeSys, Capital/Capital Essentials or equivalent.BS7671 18th Edition Qualification.Inspection and Testing experience preferable.Experienced in project management of small, medium and large-scale projectsAbility to manage workload to deliver projects on timeBENEFITS:Competitive salary25 days holiday, plus all bank holidaysFree on site parkingPensionPrivate healthcare
