Salary: £42,403- £46,464 per annum

Main purpose of the post
To provide expertise in design, and to provide advice relating to clients’ building services system requirements in a variety of building types from schools to commercial offices.
To ensure that projects under their control are monitored and controlled in a manner consistent with the commercial aims of the Consultancy.
To plan, monitor and control groups of projects within agreed budgeted levels of cost to acceptable quality standards and time limits.
Experience
Experience as an Electrical Design Engineer working within a building and construction environment
Experience in planning and controlling groups of projects within budgets and to agreed deadlines
Experience in the use of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Teams)
Knowledge of different forms of Joint Contracts & Tribunal/NEC Forms of Contracting and administration of the same.
Knowledge of computerised Electrical Services design programmes such as Hevacomp/Bentley, Cymap, Dailux or similar packages.
Up to date knowledge of relevant Electrical guidelines and continual learning(British standards, CIBSE guidelines, Loler regulations, etc.)and continual learning.
Knowledge of Health and Safety in the construction industry
Working knowledge of AutoCAD drafting programmes including Revit 3d.
Education and training
Degree in a relevant discipline i.e. Electrical, or Mechanical Building Services degree or equivalent.
HND/HNC or equivalent HTC qualification in Electrical or Mechanical services
Fully conversant with the IET Wiring Regulations 8th edition.
Full UK Driving Licence Essential
