An excellent opportunity to join a leading manufacturer as an Electrical Design Manager in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and scheduling workload in Electrical design
• Work closely with Project Managers, Clients & Mechanical & Software Design to execute projects in a timely manner agreed with all parties.
• Oversee the production of technical drawings, reports and specifications.
• Supervising the work of others including engineers of different disciplines.
• Attending meetings and communicating with clients to establish their requirements and liaising with them regularly on progress as the project develops.
• Development & Training of electrical team members.

Qualifications:

Successful applicants will need to hold a relevant Engineering Qualification such as:

• HNC/HND/Degree in Electrical Design engineering desirable
• Good experience of 2D Electrical Design packages
• Strong background in Electrical Design of Industrial capital equipment, machinery & instrumentation such as automated test equipment
• Ability to specify & design for low voltage applications (48V to 1000VDC.)
• Proven experience in Engine Test Cell Engineering
