Reactive Electrician
Bored of doing the standards PPM’s and looking a reactive electrician role then I have just the one, working for a National Mechanical and Electrical Contractor.
Your responsibilities of a Reactive Electrician will include: -
- Installing all aspects of electrical infrastructure (any data, fire alarm experiences a bonus)
- Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment.
- Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.)
- Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components.
- Install containment system (trunking, conduits etc)
- Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc.
- Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units.
Qualifications & Skills needed to be a Reactive Electrician
- Proven experience as an electrician (Level 3 NVQ or equivalent)
- C&G 2391 or equivalent
- Experience with carrying out Condition Reports
- Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems
- Knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Physically able to carry out the role.
- ECS Card preferred.
- IT illiterate for working on Tablets.
- Excellent customer facing skills.

- EICRs paid @ price rate per circuit £6.50
