SalaryCCL Global are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to be based in Nottingham. We are looking for a high-reaching Electrical Engineer to manage the whole production line and keep to exact safety measures, time measures, and quality. As a business we are involved in the packaging industry mainly dealing in the food and textile section and with the addition of a new and improved factory there is an opportunity for a talented Electrical Engineer to come in and not only make an impact in the business but also achieve highly and learn and improve their skills.
Location: Nottingham
Type of Contract: Full-Time, permanent
Key Duties will include:
- You will be responsible for all level breakdowns and planned maintenance programs.
- Deliver reports on the plan and maintenance work to keep everything for future issues that may occur.
- Looking after numerous machines ranging through the whole production line.
- Ensure that Health and Safety measures are met.
Requirements:
- Having an Electrical Engineering background with a problem-solving mind to be able to come up with solutions to difficult issues on different machines.
- Having good and clear communicational skills will be key to success when dealing with reporting back to managers and directors.
- A highly organised approach to new challenges with a visible track record of supporting Electrical Engineering and following projects to completion.
- Having the 18th edition qualification is not essential but is nice to have.
- Print and Packaging experience or any knowledge of the food and packaging industries would be amazing, however is not essential.
- Available to work on day shifts, on an average day of 8:30am to 17:30pm.
- A work ethic featuring determination, adaptability, and resilience with the ability to lead under pressure, evolving requirements, and conflicting priorities.
- Finally, being on-call for on the rare occasions of emergencies within the factory having you and your team ready to help again keep the whole production running smoothly.
