Job Title: Electrical Engineer (NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor)

Location: London and surrounding areas, primarily in the South East

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

My client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Engineer to join there team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems across various sites in London and the South East. As our NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor, you will be responsible for signing off electrical works via our online portal and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical testing, including EICR, and record details on certificates.
• Conduct electrical fault finding and diagnosis.
• Install mechanical pumps and wire and program associated inverters (experience preferred but not essential).
• Carry out electrical installation works, lighting replacements, emergency lighting tests, AOV & fire alarm tests.
• Participate in the call-out rota (currently 1 week every 8 weeks).

Requirements:

• Qualified Electrical Engineer.
• Ability to become the Qualifying Supervisor for NICEIC accreditation (previous experience preferred but not essential).
• Competency in electrical testing and fault finding.
• Experience in electrical installation works.
• Familiarity with emergency lighting systems, AOV, and fire alarm tests.
