About the company:

This Building Services specific consultancy is looking for a Building ServicesElectrical Engineer to join their team in Leeds, but would also consider candidates who are based in Manchester or may want to work between the two. Their foundations are based on strong technical and practical skills developed over many years of providing Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health and Sustainability services to their clients. They’re a well-established business with over 25 years’ experience, 3 offices in the UK and another in the Middle East. They also benefit from getting projects from 2 other sister engineering companies who are all owned by the same group.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will work on a variety of projects mainly focusing on producing design and specifications using Revit, AutoCAD, Amtech and Dialux, amongst other responsibilities. A few notable schemes they’ve recently completed are the Nissan N-Vision battery storage plant, the redevelopment of the Olympia in London, numerous leisure centers across the country as well as healthcare and education projects.

Their Leeds office has gone from strength to strength over the last 3 years, so they are hoping to grow this offering with 2 new members of staff across their offices. There are around 13 people in the Leeds office with strong plans to grow the area due to the amount of work they have coming into the business.

This business’s staff retention is second to none, they have a very stable pipeline of work on small and large projects, and they’ve also made it through 2 recessions without making redundancies. You’ll be exposed to all the latest engineering technologies and software packages, giving you the best chance to grow your career and work towards chartership.

What they are looking for in the successful Electrical Engineer – Building Services:

• Proven Building Services design Electrical Engineering experience in either a consultancy or contracting background.
• Able to use software packages such as Revit, AutoCAD, Amtech, Dialux and Relux.
• The ability to work well within a team and individually.
• The desire to progress as an individual within the sustainability environment and help grow the Engineering Leeds team.
• Outgoing, motivated and team player attitude.
