SalaryElectrical Engineer / Inspector
£34 per hour (outside IR35) + min 6mth rolling contract + average 45hr week Mon-Fri + overtime rates + July start dates
Electrical Engineer / Inspectorresponsibilities include:
- Site-based, carrying out detailed Electrical Safety checks & inspections and delivering inspection reports.
- Risk assessment of fixed electrical installations.
- Drawings, tracing, labelling and schedules of electrical installations.
- Emergency lighting inspection and test to BS 5266 standard.
- Electrical load analysis; Public entertainment licensing testing.
- Lightning protection systems inspection and testing.
- Electrical safety assessments for plant and machinery.
- Act as Advisor providing technical and legislative advice where necessary.
Electrical Engineer / Inspectorprofile;
- C&G Part 1, 2 & 3 electrical installation qualification OR HND / HNC.
- C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing certificate and 17th/18th Edition regs required.
- COMPEX certs 01-04 and EX05-06 desirable.
- Minimum 10yrs relevant Electrical industry experience, ideally 5 of which have involved testing and inspecting electrical installations / ATEX inspections
- Experience working on mega-scale construction sites including Nuclear, Waste-Energy, Renewables, Data centres etc
- Current UK driving license.
- Proven technical knowledge and understanding.
